The IMPOWER function returns a complex number raised to an integer power.

IMPOWER takes 2 required arguments and no optional arguments:

Syntax: IMPOWER(inumber, number)

The arguments for the IMPOWER function are:
Argument Required? Description
inumber Required A complex number you want to raise to a power.
number Required The power to which you want to raise the complex number.

A couple things:
If number is nonnumeric, IMPOWER returns the #VALUE! error value.
number can be an integer, fractional, or negative.
