The GESTEP function tests whether a number is greater than a threshold value. GESTEP Returns 1 if numberstep; returns 0 (zero) otherwise. Use this function to filter a set of values. For example, by summing several GESTEP functions you calculate the count of values that exceed a threshold.

GESTEP takes 1 required argument and 1 optional argument:
